Eclectic tropics
August 17, 2016 · 1
It is almost time to welcome the spring – summer season and, as much as we at Trends enjoy sunny days and spectacular sunsets, we could not help falling in love with some of the design trends taking over this season.
When it comes to fitting out spaces, we are extremely detail-oriented.
Adding that special accessory, that different touch to one of your spaces, can often make all the difference. We think it is time to bring the freshness of summer into your home, and we will tell you how.
Gold tones, pineapples and pastel shades are making a strong entrance in 2016, and we have fallen in love with them.
These trends and elements blend perfectly with a wide variety of styles. They apply to decorative objects, lamps, coasters and wallpaper as well as kitchen or bathroom accessories and, thanks to their tropical, eclectic look, they will not only add a different touch but also bring a new range of combinations that are here to stay.
Pineapples, a nod to the Olympic Games being held in Rio – Brazil this year, become a must this season. Tropical accessories, not only in bright, eclectic tones but also in somewhat warmer colors, offer endless options for how to combine them and where to use this kind of decorative object.
We have also spotted tropical accessories in grays, blues and white, moving away from the usual look of a tropical element.
These elements fit perfectly into both work and home environments.
These trends have been used and represented perfectly in the Bloomingville spring-summer 2016 collection, one of our favorite Nordic brands. From Denmark, and in excellent quality materials, come these exotic touches that invite us to dream, create and redefine each of our spaces.
