It’s already mid Summer and it’s that time of the season we like to hit pause for a second and look around to do a little check up of what we think are the ultimate, funniest and interesting Summer trends.
We believe that specially in Summer, decoration and interior design in general becomes a way to add freshness to every space and we just love it! That’s why we have chosen three trends that are truly a must this Summer for us and, maybe, even for the rest of the year.
A time ago we told you about which would be this season’s colors but we have to say that rose quartz is defintely the winner in our hearts. When the Pantone Institute named this color among this season’s colors we already knew it would hit hard, but seeing this color in action, like for example on this Globus chair by Stua, it has made us fall in love. This color just gives you some kind of relaxaing vibe and adds a calm atmosphere to wherever you put it in.
Another one of this season’s trends that we absolutely love is the use of hand made objects such as ceramics or wooden objects. It’s a bridge to our roots and history of where we’re at and it gives our spaces a very artisan vibe, offering the perfect contrast to modern furniture and clean interior design.
Last, but not least, we’re totally fond of copper and metal. Do you remember we told you about how these materials perfectly matched everything related to a tropical mood such as palm tres, pineapples and watermelons? Well, today we also want to let you know that it’s not only Golden colors for this trend, but also silvery and bronze. You can find this kind of material or color on lamps, little tables, shelves and, of course, all kind of decorating objects. Kartell lamps, for example, are just a must this season.
