In April, 2016 we came across a beautiful interior design project in Puerto Pollensa. Our mission: convert a cold apartment with no personality into a lovely, warm and cozy holiday rental.
We had some things in our favor: the apartment has some stunning views of the beach in Puerto Pollensa and it had tons of natural light. Starting on these premises, we decided to use the cold looks of it and transform it by mixing aluminium, steel, lacquered materials and polypropylene with warmer materials such as wood and natural fibers.
On the wide terrace we decided to go with Stua furniture and a Deneb table with Toy chairs. Inside the apartment we used a lot of wooden decorative objects, an Edison Fatboy lamp, the Code sofa by Jóquer and the Thin table by Ethnicraft. In the living room we installed a lacquered wood tv cabinet and a lacquered table in mink color and some sail chairs by Andrewworld.
Every piece has its own personality but also fits perfectly with the others and in the space it has to fill. The result was not just a holiday rental, but a comfortable home away from home.
